Grantmaking and Leverage
NRFC’s ten year goals are to build the field of rural practice, policy and philanthropy and to leverage more than $100 million in new or untapped resources to support and strengthen rural communities and families facing persistent poverty. Grantmaking is not NRFC’s primary function in this learning collaborative, but a necessary role to build a learning community of funders, practitioners, and policy makers around innovative ideas and models to learn from while pushing each other to a more engaging responsive level.
