Introduction
In an effort to capture the information and resources that have been collected throughout the year, NRFC has begun to build a “Knowledge Base” of materials. This is a collection of resources and recommended readings gathered as preparation for and documentation of our learning events, regional convening, and policy discussions.

We solicit your recommendations of materials that might also contribute important knowledge for understanding and articulating the dominant themes of our learning framework for community transformation in rural areas: Building Wealth, Building Leadership, and Building Self Sufficient Families. We are especially interested in articles, research, best practices, and presentations that focus specifically on rural areas facing persistent poverty and which document/draw upon your experience in working collaboratively to bring about lasting, measurable change in rural America.
