Southeast Region

Building on NRFC's current Strategic Investment for South Carolina CED Public Policy Collaborative, a regional convening was conducted in order to bring together a diverse group of local, regional, and federal partners.  This convening built upon the regional strategy developed at NRFC's 2004 Annual Assembly in Nebraska, and explored ways to expand a regional strategic readiness model that capitalizes on untapped resources and opportunities that are unique to the Southeastern region. This convening also allotted participants the chance to explore targeted resources available through the Department of Transportation that are dedicated towards land conservation issues.
