Expanding Regional Collaboration

NRFC recoginizes that philanthropic dollars alone are not a sustainable source for regional community transformation.  Collaboration is the key to developing transformative vision and working together at both regional and national levels to identify new markets and sources of income to sustain the regional efforts and vision.

Beyond NRFC's Strategic Investments in Regional Collaborations, NRFC has begun to facilitate collaborative discussions among regional stakeholders made up of National and Regional Funders; Policy Makers at both the State and National level; and Grass-roots Leaders and Practitioners.

Currently, NRFC is working with diverse stakeholders in the following regions to stimulate greater dialogue and investment:

Mid South Delta (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi)

Northern Great Plains (Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota)

Southeast (Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina)
