In the serious work of leveraging funds and community assets, NRFC has found that the work cannot be left strictly to grantmaking or even by expanded regional conversations, but it must include an intentional model for flexible and responsive philanthropy, while at the same time seeking to identify non-traditional forms of philanthropy to engage a broader representation of the community.
