Membership and participation in NRFC is open to public and private foundations, government agencies and corporations who are interested in investing collaboratively in long-term strategies for transformation of communities and regions of rural poverty – especially in areas where poverty and race overlap and are concentrated – through community-based asset-building and outcome achievement in terms of wealth creation, family self-suffiency and civic participation. Additionally, NRFC members are committed to learning from and sharing information about their distinctive and collective work in addressing rural poverty.
